Genius Party Hosts Open Video Contest on MySpace

Studio 4°C is sponsoring an open video contest to find the "Next Genius" on the MySpace website account it created for its upcoming anthology film, Genius Party. The contest runs from May 10 to June 30, and the uploaded entries will be judged by Genius Party's seven directors, which include Shinichiro Watanabe, Shōji Kawamori, and Masaaki Yuasa. Although the rules are in Japanese, they say the contest is open to all nationalities, as well as amateurs, professionals, and group entries. The winner will be announced at Genius Party's July 7 premiere and website, along with comments from the judges. It will also be included in the DVD extras and shown at events for Genius Party.
