I wonder how she's now a flight attendant from being a school teacher but maybe I shouldn't ask too much.

That's an... interesting career change. Wonder how they'll make her relevant to the story?

Also, this is cool and all, but I gotta ask... why make a special now?

It's actually pretty cool.

In the 1998 live action series her dream was to be a flight attendant, teacher was her fall back job, it was even a plot point. It's cool to see she fulfilled her dream.
